General Information

A joint out of place is a subluxation, or slight dislocation, of one of the ribs where they attach to the spine. This means that the rib head is slightly disjointed caused by a sprain of the ligaments that surround these joints. The pain is extremely localized and usually follows the course of the rib and is reproducible on palpation.
