What is Lateral Recess Stenosis?
more faqs »
The lateral recess is a space located immediately under the spinal facet joints. As bone spurs accumulate, they can push down and pinch one of the spinal nerves getting ready to enter the intervertebral foramen. This can be an isolated problem or be seen in conjunction with central spinal stenosis.
