Q. What is the difference between a percutaneous nucleoplasty coblation and a percutaneous laser discectomy?

A. Percutaneous nucleoplasty coblation is another type of percutaneous discectomy performed using electric radio frequency energy and a liquid medium to create a plasma spray at a temperature much lower than a laser. It is very precise and minimally affects normal surrounding tissue, making it safe and more appealing.
