Dr. Robert Biscup pioneered concierge spinal care when he became the first orthopedic surgeon to establish a concierge spine surgery practice. At Biscup Spine, we know that your care goes beyond clinical excellence by providing world-class clinical quality and personalized healthcare through unparalleled compassion and service.
But what does concierge spinal care really mean for you as a patient and what sets a concierge spine practice apart? Keep reading to find out how putting your spine health in the hands of a concierge practice will provide you with a better patient experience.
At Biscup Spine, we pride ourselves on having a staff that will cater to your every need as a patient, similar to the experience that a concierge would provide for you at a luxury hotel.
It all starts with your first phone call with the Biscup Spine team. Once you’re a Biscup Spine patient, Dr. Biscup will be committed to you and managing your care through every step of your journey to recovery from pain. Concierge spinal care means delivering compassionate and timely care to each and every one of our patients.
Dr. Biscup and our entire team have helped countless patients find a solution to their back pain and finally get relief, providing them with the ability to restore their active lifestyles and get back to living their lives.
We also understand how debilitating back pain can be and we know that patients want to be seen and get relief as soon as possible, but spending quality time with each and every patient is also important to us. This is how we can be sure that we fully understand our patients’ conditions and their needs. This is why we limit how many patients we see every day, ensuring that no patient ever leaves our office feeling rushed, misunderstood, or left with questions.
This allows Dr. Biscup to have an hour-long consultation with every patient, ensuring that all of your questions are answered and that he fully understands your medical history. Dr. Biscup will personally review all your diagnostic images such as X-rays, MRIs, and CAT scans. During this consultation, you and Dr. Biscup will also determine whether you’re an optimal candidate for spine surgery. Keep in mind that Dr. Biscup is always conservative in his clinical judgments and will only recommend surgery for patients he truly believes will benefit from surgical procedures. If Dr. Biscup feels that a patient is not a candidate for surgical intervention, he will explore non-surgical and non-invasive treatments.
Your experience of getting surgical help, whether traditional or minimally invasive, doesn’t have to leave you feeling uncertain, worried, or anxious. Dr. Biscup always takes the time to educate patients and their loved ones to provide the most comforting and relaxing environment possible
As a concierge spinal care practice, our dedicated team will anticipate your needs and tend to every detail to ensure that you have an exceptional outcome. In addition to this, Dr. Biscup’s patients benefit from his world-renowned and pioneering surgical expertise, gained over a more than 35-year long career. Altogether, the Biscup Spine team provides a holistic, expert, and seamless approach to restoring health that treats each of our patients as part of the family.
Our office assists all of our patients traveling to see Dr. Biscup with travel arrangements and hotel accommodations for both the pre- and post-operative periods. Our goal is to make your recovery in South Florida as comfortable and pleasant as possible for you and your family. We’ll work with you to take your requests and needs into consideration when making these arrangements so we can tailor your trip to your needs.
Please note that Medicare and private pay insurance do not cover many of the spine procedures Dr. Biscup provides despite their proven safety and effectiveness. Because of this, we do not accept Medicare or private insurance for our services. We apologize for the inconvenience that this may cause for patients and appreciate your understanding.
Dr. Biscup is a pioneer in major reconstructive, previously failed, and minimally invasive lumbar spine surgery, including laser microsurgery and micro-decompression laminoplasty. In addition to this, he often provides a second opinion for patients considering surgery and has treated many patients referred to him by other doctors who trusted Dr. Biscup to successfully treat their patients. He also sees many patients who have failed to get relief from prior spine surgery. Dr. Biscup believes that patients with the most complicated conditions deserve to get relief from their pain.
If you’re currently living with back pain and are failing to get relief from your current treatment or have all but given up on finding relief, please don’t hesitate to call us at 1-800-533-7313 or contact us online today. Our goal is to deliver the best outcome possible for the relief of your back pain and we pride ourselves on our proven ability to do so. We look forward to partnering with you on your successful journey to better health!
